GARDENA, CALIFORNIA – A black sedan and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of Rosecrans Ave and Vermont Ave in the city of Gardena at around 9:30pm. The motorcycle rider was thrown from his bike and was rushed to a nearby hospital in serious condition. The dark colored sedan ended up hitting a commercial building before coming to a stop. The driver of the sedan was not injured. Gardena PD is investigating the crash and was seen temporarily detaining the driver of the sedan and even searching him. GPD taped off the intersection to investigate the crash. No information if alcohol or drugs were involved at this time. No further information available.
