RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA – Riverside City Police Department was at scene of a suspect barricaded inside a Dodge Truck refusing to surrender to the police officer. The suspect Alfredo was refusing to surrender inside the vehicle and was asked by police to surrender and exit the vehicle. It’s unknown at this time what led to the police contacting Alfredo. After two hours of attempting to have the suspect surrender, Riverside City Police SWAT team was then summoned to assist. SWAT arrived and began using flashbang grenades and tear gas to have him subdued. After several minutes of this, Alfredo surrender to the officers and was taken into custody. He was transported by America Medical Response to a local hospital for evaluation.
