APPLE VALLEY, CALIFORNIA – A traffic collision Sunday afternoon in Apple Valley left two deceased and at least four others in critical condition. The accident occurred around 2:25 PM at the intersection of Deep Creek Road and Poppy Road. Two cars appeared to be involved. Apple Valley Fire responded and pronounced two individuals deceased on scene. Paramedics also treated at least four additional patients with critical injuries. At least four (possibly five) air ambulances were requested to transport the critical patients to area trauma centers. Scanner traffic indicated that two of the critical patients were juveniles. There was at least one other patient with minor injuries.
