DES MOINES, IOWA (LoudLabs CR) – On Sunday, September 16th at approximately 12:15 AM, Des Moines Police and Fire were dispatched to a reported stabbing at the Oakview Terrace apartments, at 3211 30th Street. A male was reportedly stabbed in the back in Building F, and walked through the parking lot before collapsing. The victim was treated and transported by Des Moines Fire Department paramedics to an area hospital under lights and sirens. Shortly after the call went out, a Des Moines officer found a male subject in the Hy-Vee parking lot on Urbandale Avenue with blood on himself, and was identified by police as a likely suspect in the stabbing.
