Deadly Head-On Crash | APPLE VALLEY, CA 12.16.20

APPLE VALLEY, CALIFORNIA – A head-on traffic collision in Apple Valley late Wednesday night killed two people and left two others in critical condition. The accident occurred around 10:45 PM at Bear Valley Road (20900 block) and Multnomah Road. According to the Apple Valley Fire Battalion Chief (Audio on Camera), arriving paramedics pronounced two people deceased on scene and requested an air ambulance for one of the victims. The fourth patient was transported to a local hospital in by ambulance. The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of Bear Valley Road. The eastbound sedan was struck head on by a westbound sedan that had crossed over a center turn lane before striking the eastbound vehicle. Initial radio traffic indicated there were three fatalities in the accident. A witness (off camera) stated that one of the victims transported, the female driver of the westbound vehicle, was ‘lifeless’ when they extricated and transported her. SBSO Apple Valley and the SBSO Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are conducting the investigation.
