STANTON – A traffic collision involving an OCSD patrol unit occurred in the 10200 block of Western Ave. in the city of Stanton. A man lost control of his sedan and crashed into a few parked cars on Western Ave. and the Sheriffs unit was travelling in the lane next to the crash when debris smashed the windshield of the OCSD unit. The man was questioned and ultimately cited and released on scene. A friendly reminder of distracted driving and how it can wait. No injuries were reported.
