RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CALIFORNIA – A construction company was utilizing a rented crane from A-1 Rentals this afternoon. Somehow the weight of the crane shifted and the large rig toppled over onto a home in an affluent neighborhood in Rancho Palos Verdes. The boom of the crane crushed the roof of the home , extending from the street to the rear of the home. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries to the workers or homeowners.
