CORONA: Fatal Costco Shooting

On Friday evening, June 14, 2019, the Corona Police Department, California Highway Patrol, Riverside Police along with Corona Fire and AMR responded to multiple reports of a shooting inside Costco. The shooting was reported around 7:45pm at the Costco in the 400 block of McKinley Street. According to Police, the shooting was a result of an argument between two strangers in the middle of the store. One man was killed and two people were wounded. Witnesses inside the store told LoudLabs News that when they tried to escape the shooting through emergency exit doors, the doors would not open. One lady injured her hand as a result of trying to get the emergency exit doors open. Per Lt. Edwards, with the Corona Police Department, the gunman is in custody and was taken to an area hospital after claiming of an injury. No further details were immediately available.
