Chevy Tahoe Vs Car & Hydrant | RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA 3.24.21

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA – On Wednesday morning, March 24, 2021, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department along with the City of Ontario Fire Department and AMR responded to reports of a two vehicle traffic collision with a sheared fire hydrant. The crash was reported around 2:22am at the intersection of Archibald Avenue and 4th Street. The first arriving engine company reported two vehicles with major damage and a sheared hydrant. The violent crash sent at least two people to area hospitals in unknown condition. A white SUV was pinned up against a wall of an apartment complex with the roof peeled back. The second vehicle came to rest on Archibald Avenue, south of 4th Street. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
