Cerritos: Garage Fire Quickly Spreads Into Home

At 1:45 am LA County Fire was dispatched to a structure fire on Chelsea St, in Cerritos. When crews arrived they found heavy smoke and fire showing from the garage and quickly went into attack mode. Crews were able to get a quick attack on the fire but the damage had already been done. Three residents inside were not injured, however the next door neighbor was treated for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported and crews had a knock down within 45 mins. The cause of the fire is under investigation
