CEDAR RAPIDS: Vehicle Catches Fire in Gas Station Lot

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (LoudLabs CR) – On Monday, December 11th at approximately 11:15 PM, Cedar Rapids Police and Fire was dispatched to a report of a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Casey’s General Store in the 3300 block of Mount Vernon Road in Cedar Rapids. Arriving units found an older four door sedan with smoke showing from the engine compartment. An attack line was pulled and fire crews quickly doused the fire. There were no injures associated with the fire.
