CENTRAL CITY, IOWA (LoudLabs CR) – At approximately 11:15 PM on Thursday evening, Linn County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a hit and run accident behind the Dollar General in Central City. Upon arrival, Central City Fire Department found a man down pulseless and not breathing, and began CPR. LifeGuard Air Ambulance was requested to the scene and assisted Center Point EMS in treating the patient, but unfortunately he was declared deceased at the scene as per a deputy on the scene. Authorities report they are seeking a white minivan with front end damage in relation this incident.
