Cedar Rapids: High School Football Game Ends In Fight

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (LoudLabs CR) – On September 14th at approximately 10:30 PM, emergency services were dispatched to a report of a possible fight in progress at Kingston Stadium, where a football game was happening at the time. EMS was called to a reported seizure as well as an injured officer, possibly from use of pepper spray on a subject. According to witnesses at the scene, officers or security guards were seen body slamming a young female to the ground during part of the incident. Numerous subjects were seen in handcuffs, although two were released at the scene. At least one was taken by police in the back of a police car. It is unknown at this time exactly what led up to the incident and the number of injured/arrested.
