RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA – California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Station started receiving multiple 911 calls of a white Dodge Charger traveling eastbound on the 210 freeway at the 57 freeway driving on one rim with sparks coming from the car. Within about two minutes CHP received more 911 calls of the Charger passing N Towne Ave in the city of Claremont. Five minutes later Rancho Cucamonga CHP station received a call of the vehicle on the Archibald Avenue exit from the 210 fwy in the city of Rancho Cucamonga. The driver inside the vehicle advised them that she was out of gas not knowing that she was driving on the rim. CHP officers went to get the female out of the vehicle but she refused to come out and that’s when she starting fighting with officers. Her boyfriend arrived on scene and was trying to calm her down so CHP could take her into custody. Unknown at this time how she came to be driving on the rim.
