CHINO, CALIFORNIA – On Monday December 14, 2020, Chino Valley Fire Department and Chino Pd responded to a traffic collision with fire at Central Avenue and G Street. Chino officers were the first on scene and located a white vehicle that had crashed into a tree causing three to four people to be trapped inside. Chino officers along with some bystanders were able to pull three of the four victims out of the vehicle while the vehicle was on fire. The driver of the vehicle was not able to make it out and was pronounced dead at the scene. Firefighters and paramedics transported the three victims to the hospital. Unknown at this time how the accident occurred. Chino PD had Central Avenue closed in both directions from Chino Avenue down to Shaffer Avenue as they handled their investigation into the fatal accident.
