Caught on Camera: Perps Fail to Steal Muscle Milk from Rite Aid, Employees Get Tased

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached surveillance video in connection to an attempted robbery that occurred within the confines of the 63 Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at approximately 0230 hours, inside of 1791 Utica Avenue (Rite Aid), the two unidentified individuals removed several Muscle Milk powder containers, passed all points of sale, and attempted to leave the store with the products without permission or authority to do so. Several store employees confronted them, and the unidentified individuals brandished a taser and shoved the store employees to the ground. One of the individuals then tased one of the store employees, a 45-year-old male, on the right hand. The unidentified individuals were unable to remove any store products and fled the scene in an unknown dark colored sedan eastbound on Avenue J. The 45-year-old male victim was removed to Mount Sinai Brooklyn Hospital in stable condition.
