The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual wanted in connection to a hate crime assault incident that occurred within the confines of the Midtown South Precinct. The details are as follows:
On Monday, March 29, 2021, at approximately 1140 hours, in front of 360 West 43 Street, the 65-year-old female victim was approached by an unidentified individual. The unidentified individual punched and kicked the victim about the body, causing her to fall to the ground, and made anti-Asian statements toward her. The individual then proceeded to kick the victim multiple times in the head before fleeing the location. The victim sustained a serious physical injury and was removed by EMS to NYU Langone Hospital in stable condition. The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.
Surveillance video and photos depicting the individual obtained from vicinity of the incident location are attached and available at DCPI.
