The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the vehicle seen in the attached, and/or its occupants, sought in connection with an attempted assault within the confines of the 77th Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2045 hours in the vicinity of Prospect Place and Buffalo Avenue, the victim, a 36-year-old male, was standing outside of a double-parked white BMW sedan when a dark-color SUV approached. One round was discharged from a firearm from the SUV’s rear passenger-side window. It struck the rear driver-side window of the BMW. The victim was not injured. The SUV fled the scene on Prospect Place.
