A deadly rollover was reported this morning April 14, 2021, at the intersection of Transmountain Road and S. Desert Blvd in west El Paso. The call went out as a mutual aid when different agencies responded to the scene and later upgraded to an extended traffic collision. The cement truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident was caught on cellphone video by a witness on the highway. The cement truck collided with a semi-truck after unconfirmed reports indicated brake failure at the time of the accident. A load of beer cans and bottles spilled onto the highway after the deadly crash. No other details are available at this time.
