VICTORVILLE, CALIFORNIA – A shooting incident in Victorville Sunday night has sent two people to the hospital. One victim self transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. A second victim had to be flown to a trauma center for treatment. The shooting was reported at 6:54 PM near an unsanctioned and spontaneous car show/gathering in the parking lot of a local business. The SBSO PIO stated that it is “unknown if those involved were part of a nearby car show.” (Jodi Miller). The PIO confirmed: “Deputies responded to the report of shots fired in the 14200 block of Valley Center Drive. One victim was located and flown to a trauma center. A second victim self transported to a local area hospital with a minor injury. No suspects have been located or arrested. Unknown if those involved were part of a nearby car show. Several involved are uncooperative with deputies.The investigation is ongoing.” The crime scene was located near the intersection of Seventh Street and W. Sage Street. SBSO Victorville is currently handling the investigation. The condition of the trauma victim is unknown but the victim appears to be unresponsive during the transport.
