Brush Fire Brings Out The Air Tankers & Helicopter Drops | DEVORE CA 10.5.20

DEVORE, CALIFORNIA – On Monday afternoon at approximately 1:51 pm CalFire San Bernardino along with San Bernardino County Fire, US Forestry Fire Department, San Bernardino County Sheriff, CHP Southern California Edison responded to the area of Cajon Blvd and KeenBrook road in reference to a Brush Fire.

Fire Units arrived on scene of Cajon Blvd and noticed a brush fire burning on the East and West sides of the road. At this time air tankers and water dropping helicopters were overhead fighting the fire from the air. Fire hand crews and bulldozers were also on scene to assist with the firefighting operation.

At approximately 3:00 pm the forward rate of progress of the fire was stopped. Fire crew will remain on scene for several hours fighting this fire. No structures were threatened or lost. The fire is currently under investigation.
