FORT HAMILTON, Brooklyn – A wrong way SUV driver hit an Uber Honda causing it to land on top of the belt parkway divider early Thursday morning around 2 am. Upon arrival of FDNY, they confirmed 3 trapped in the Honda that required extrication. All were extricated and transported to the hospital. Gerald Obah, 27, Manhattan was dead on arrival. The wrong way SUV driver, Alex Sheipak, 50, Brooklyn, was arrested for driving intoxicated and was transported to the hospital in stable condition. He faces several charges including vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.
