BUSHWICK, Brooklyn – A man was shot on the northwest corner of Broadway & Eldert by the Checkers fast food restaurant. He was transported in stable condition to Brookdale hospital via Wyckoff EMS. Police were looking for a white Mercedes who fled the scene, possibly a drive-by shooting. Police stopped a white Mercedes on Rockaway & Bainbridge matching the description. Unclear if connected to the shooting.
