CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn – Friday at 10:35 pm a man was fatally shot in the chest at 990 Atlantic Avenue within the confines of the 77 precinct. The victim, 27-year-old Kevin Virgo, received CPR on the scene and was transported to Brooklyn Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. NYPD launched a level 1 mobilization to hunt for the perp who is yet to be apprehended. The investigation remains ongoing.
