BROOKLYN: Male Shot in NYCHA Building, 3 Suspects at Large

CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn – On Friday at 2:30 AM NYPD responded to a victim shot at 2970 West 27th Street inside a NYCHA building within the confines of the 60PCT. The victim was shot in the leg with non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to NYU Langone Hospital by EMS. Suspects are described as 3 black males. One suspect was wearing a red jacket which he removed while in pursuit and has been recovered by the NYPD 2 blocks away from the scene. NYPD K9 & Aviation Units responded with negative results on locating the 3 perpetrators at this time. Bloodhound was unable to trace the scent of the jacket recovered to a location of the perpetrator. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time & investigation is ongoing. | Cameraman: Matt Rosen
