6.1.19 | by Adam Balhetchet | BEDSTUY, Brooklyn – A person was fatally shot at 4:47 am Saturday in front of 468 Chauncey St, confines of 73 Precinct. When 73rd Precinct units responded they found a 29-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive lying in a pile of trash. Police rushed the ambulance to the scene. EMS found him to be in traumatic cardiac arrest secondary to a gunshot wound to the chest. They performed CPR and rushed him to Interfaith hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Police do not currently have a suspect description. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
