6.12.19 | By Adam Balhetchet | DOWNTOWN, Brooklyn – An injured hawk was seen standing in front of 50 Court St around 6:30 pm Wednesday. A crowd of bystanders gathered around the hawk taking photos. Police requested ESU to capture the Hawk with the leg injury. Upon arrival, they used a blanket to handle the Hawk and transfer it into a small pet cage. A lady who works in the area stated the Hawk is a regular sighting on Court St and has been seen on the upper floors perched on windows.
