4.20.19 | Video by Adam Balhetchet | EAST WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (DCPI) – On Saturday, April 20, 2019, at approximately 0129 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided female outside 811 Flushing Avenue (Bushwick Houses) within the confines of the 90 Precinct (PSA#3). Upon arrival, officers learned the 21-year-old female was removed to Elmhurst Hospital, via responding EMS, where she remains in critical but stable condition, with lacerations to her head and about her body. Further investigation brought the police to the female’s apartment, apartment #8J, inside of 811 Flushing Avenue. Once inside the apartment, officers observed an unidentified adult female in her 20’s, unconscious and unresponsive within the living room area, with multiple stab wounds and lacerations to both the head and body. EMS pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Additionally, a 4-year-old female (child of the 21-year-old aided female), was discovered uninjured and unharmed inside a bedroom within the apartment. EMS removed the child to Woodhull Hospital, for evaluation and observation. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
