MONROVIA – Angeles National Forest Fire Department did a backfire in the hills above Monrovia near 700 N Oakglade Dr. All the residents were keeping a close eye on the fire and some residents were watering down their back hillsides and some of the bushes so the embers wouldn’t catch their house on fire.
