LONG BEACH CA – A male and a female said that they were passengers in a car wreck that left a BMW 5 Series in ruins and LBPD searching for two people that may not exist.
Long Beach Police arrived at a vehicle crash on fire with two occupants sitting on the curb. The female seemed to be uncooperative as the male was checked out by Long Beach Fire. They told police that they were passengers in the car which prompted a search by LBPD in the nearby area for people ejected and or injured. The male was put into an ambulance as the female continued speaking with police.
The BMW struck a concrete light pole before coming to rest on its side and on fire about a 100 yards away from impact. One of the wheels ripped off and was found 200 yard away from the downed pole. Speed was 100% a factor in this crash. It’s unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved.
