Big Rig Crash Takes Out Center Divider | WEST COVINA, CA 1.1.20

WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA – At 8:02 pm California Highway Patrol along with West Covina Fire Department responded to a traffic collision involving a big rig and two cars that crashed into the center divider eastbound 10 Freeway at S Barranca Ave. Firefighters and CHP arrived on scene and located two vehicles that crashed into the center divider and a big rig that went through the center divider and crashed into a construction area in the westbound lanes of the 10 freeway. A total of two people were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the big rig was checked out at the scene and refused to be transported. A CHP Officer at scene said that the big rig driver told him a Dodge vehicle crashed into him causing him to cross over all three lanes and into the center divider and into the two other vehicles.
