A fire broke out in a plaza on the corner of Somerset and Ardis. LACOFD firefighters worked diligently to extinguish the fire of a tamale catering business in the end unit of the complex. They were able to declare a knockdown in about 15 minutes. Although the unit and they owners belongings were severely damaged, no one was hurt in the incident.
