CLAREMONT – Claremont Pd received a call from a residence that there was a bear in front of their house near Tulsa Ave and Furman Dr. Our cameraman (Randy) was leaving the area and spotted the bear walking westbound W Baseline Rd just passed N Mountain Ave about 3 miles from where the original call came out. Claremont Pd responded to make sure the bear wasn’t in traffic and to make sure it got back up into the hills safely. Before making its way back up into the hills, the bear did make a few stops looking for a snack.
