COMPTON, CALIFORNIA – Deputies out of Century station came under fire near the intersection of East Euclid St and Peach St. It’s unknown if the deputies immediately opened fire back at the suspect. Over a dozen bullet casings could be seen scattered all over the street on Euclid St between Peach St and Alpine Ave. At this time it is not known if the suspect was hit or if they found the suspect. The department was called in with paramedics to the scene. No information as far as if the deputies were driving when they were shot at or if they tried to make contact with someone that then shot at them. Unknown the condition of deputies. No further information was made available. LASD detectives are investigating the shooting.
