HARBOR CITY, CALIFORNIA – LAFD responded to a report of a trash fire at the intersection on Vermont and Anaheim earlier that afternoon. Firefighters located a small fire and quickly knocked it down. A short time after firefighters reported seeing more smoke from multiple locations around the park. Firefighters worked for several hours putting out fires around the park including one large fire at the center of the park. According to LAFD the fire was around four acres. LAFD is investigating the cause of the fires.
