A Saturday night pursuit in Apple Valley ended when the suspect lost control of his pick up truck and slammed into a light pole. The suspect attempted to flee the crash scene on foot but was apprehended a short time later by San Bernardino County/Apple Valley deputies. The reason for the pursuit is not known and no injuries were reported.
