PHELAN, CALIFORNIA – A single vehicle MCI rollover traffic accident Friday afternoon in Phelan sent multiple adults and children to trauma centers. At least one person was ejected in the accident. The accident occurred around 2:54 PM at the intersection of Baldy Mesa Road and Mesa Street. Unconfirmed reports indicated that one of the victims was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Two air ambulances were requested to the scene.
