LAKEWOOD, CALIFORNIA – Deputy Thomas Albanese, a seven-year veteran with the department, was attempting to pull over a sedan around 9am when he entered the intersection of Paramount and Del Amo Boulevards and collided with a silver Mercedes-Benz.
