BOROUGH PARK, Brooklyn – A drunk garbage truck driver crashes into 9 unoccupied parked vehicles causing one vehicle to stack on another vehicle, along with a few trees knocked down. This happened at 60th St and 19th Ave in Borough Park, Saturday morning. The garbage truck ended up on the sidewalk lodged between several vehicles. A witness said she saw the driver as very erratic and intoxicated. He got out of the truck unscathed and attempted to flee the scene. NYPD tazed and arrested him. No one was injured and the driver. 40-year-old Anthony Castaldo of Viking Sanitation is charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident. He posted bail on Sunday.
