LA PUENTE, CALIFORNIA – Los Angeles County Sheriff responded to a gunshot victim at Sunkist Ave and Flagstaff St. Once deputies arrived on scene, they located multiple gun shell casings in the middle of the street on Sunkist Ave. The victim, a five-year-old child was transported by family members to Queen of the Valley Hospital in the city of West Covina. Sheriff deputies had the street closed off as they handled the investigation into the shooting. Deputies are looking for a black vehicle that fled the location. No other information has been released at this time as investigation is still ongoing.
