SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – LAFD was dispatched for an apartment fire near the intersection of 109th Street and S. Vermont Ave in South LA. When fire crews arrived they found a fully engulfed apartment located on the second floor of an apartment building. Firefighters quickly got a handle of the flames and got it knocked down within minutes. It is unknown if anyone that was in the apartment was transported to the hospital. LAFD is investigating the fire. No further information available.
