UPLAND – At 6:19 pm Upland PD along with San Bernardino County Fire Department and Montclair PD responded to a two car traffic accident with one vehicle overturned and on fire, and a second vehicle with a person trapped inside the vehicle at North Monte Vista Ave and Arrow Rte. Once firefighters arrived on scene they located one vehicle overturned and on fire and a second vehicle with the person trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters quickly put out the car fire, no one was inside the vehicle at the time of the fire. The second vehicle with the person trapped, firefighters had to use the jaws of life to get the person out of the vehicle and transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
