CARSON, CALIFORNIA – CHP and LACoFD responded to an 11 vehicle traffic collision on the NB 110 just south of Carson St. One vehicle was completely crushed/compacted as a result of a possible collision with a Semi and multiple other vehicles. Multiple patients were transported one being critical, one moderate, and one fair. CHP issued a SIG Alert closing all lanes for at least 1 hour. One tractor trailer was involved and disabled. Paramedics transported to local hospitals including Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. CHP is handling the investigation. One victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
