LA PUENTE – Sometime after 9 PM LASD & LACOFD received a 911 call of a gunshot victim at the corner of 5th St Temple Ave. When deputies and firefighters arrived on scene they did not locate a victim or a vehicle. The vehicle’s driver had driven the victim to a local hospital. The victim was shot at from another vehicle while riding in a car at Hacienda Boulevard and a Mart Road in a possible road rage incident. The driver then drove to a safe location at N 5th st and Temple Ave before calling 911 and then driving to the hospital before help could arrive. The victim, a 10 year-old boy, died at the hospital.
